The price for China plywood will rise at least 6% from July.01,2007

China government has amended the Export Tax Refund(Exemption) Policy . The rates of Export Tax Refund(Exemption) for plywood / film faced plywood / blockboard have been reduced from 11% to 5% . In 2006, The rates of Export Tax Refund(Exemption) for plywood / film faced plywood / blockboard were reduced from 13% to 11% .
The new Export Tax Refund Policy will take effect on July.01,2007 . According to the new policy , the prices for plywood / film faced plywood / blockboard will rise 6% .

Now the ocean freight charges are rising rapidly . I also heard that the ocean freight charge would increase a lot in July .

As far as I know, when Chinese exporters quote prices for plywood / film faced plywood / blockboard for the new order , they will have to increase the price by at least 6% .
