Why can suppliers load only about 37-40CBM of birch plywood/film faced plywood into a 40HQ ?
Almost all buyers know that suppliers can load 48-51CBM per 40HQ of poplar plywood/film faced plywood . So usually buyers will wonder why we can pack only about 37-40CBM of birch plywood/film faced plywood into a 40HQ .
The reason is that the weight of all plywood in the 40HQ usually can not exceed about 26-27T . If it’s overweight , the 40HQ will be forbiden to be loaded on board the vessel .
As we know, the density of birch wood is bigger than that of poplar wood . As the reasult, the density of birch plywood is certainly bigger than that of poplar plywood .
The density of birch plywood/film faced plywood is about 680-700KG/CBM . 26,000-27,000KG/40HQ devided by 680-700KG/CBM is around 37-40CBM/40HQ . Thus, we can load only 37-40CBM/40HQ for birch plywood or film faced plywood .
