Matt Melamine Faced MDF has small pearls on the melamine face , which looks rough (not glossy) and gives tactile feel .

Matt finish is produced by the matt steel plate equipped in production machines in a similar way to Matt finish of film faced plywood ( please refer to: Glossy Type & Matt Type – Knowledge On Film Faced Plywood ). The difference between matt melamine MDF and matt film faced plywood is that: there is no visible small pearls on matt film faced plywood .
